Product Number: DT229
For in vitro diagnostic use. Rx only.

R1 (4 x 57mL)
R2 (4 x 12 mL)

Intended Use
Carolina Liquid Chemistries’ Direct Bilirubin Reagent is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of direct (conjugated) bilirubin level in serum or plasma.

Clinical Use
Bilirubin levels are useful in the diagnosis and treatment of liver, hemolytic, hematological and metabolic disorders, including hepatitis and gall bladder blockage.

The sensitivity of the DBIL assay at 0.2 to 23 mg/dL was found to be 0.041 mg/dL per 0.001 Absorbance Unit.

Lipemia to 800 mg/dL does not interfere with this method. Hemolysis (> 40 mg/dL) has a negative effect on the analysis. Certain drugs and other substances will cause significant interference. Refer to Direct Bilirubin reagent package insert for details.
